Ram Mandir’s Sacred Altar: A Masterpiece by Rana Marble Makrana

Rana Marble Makrana takes immense pride in being part of the historic construction of the Ram Mandir at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya.

The altar where Ramlala resides in the temple’s sanctum sanctorum has been crafted from our premium Makrana marble. Standing at 3 feet 4.5 inches tall and with dimensions of 6.4 by 8.1 feet, this altar showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and quality that our marble is known for. Not only is Rana Marble renowned for its strength, but its radiant whiteness and shine make it the ideal choice for religious and historical landmarks.

This altar was built by our skilled artisans who traveled from Rajasthan to Ayodhya to contribute to this monumental project. The marble, extracted from the quarries of Makrana, was carefully carved and polished before being installed in the temple. It adds both a divine beauty and lasting durability to the structure, ensuring that it will stand strong for generations to come.

In total, 13,300 cubic feet of intricately carved marble from Rana Marble was used in the construction of the sanctum, with another 95,300 square feet of our white marble used for the temple’s flooring and cladding. This stunning marble not only enhances the temple’s beauty but also brings a timeless strength that will keep it standing as a symbol of devotion for centuries.
